Two decades old, Carmel Kindergarten started off as a neighbor-friendly center for Early Learning and till date upholds then banner of success in focused Child centered education.

The secret is quality child care in fun-filled environment. This environment is stimulating and so makes every child enjoy learning. To make it more explicit, each child is assured of a safe environment. Each parent places confidence in the center to facilitate each child to meet challenges.

What does Carmel Kindergarten aim to achieve?

Exploring a programme that fits each child.
For this a unique curriculum is offered to strike a balance between LEARNING and PLAY. Walking into a classroom one would find the teacher moving between groups of children engrossed in fun-filled activities. Each mentor prepares monthly themes to frame lessons and this scheme helps the child go through mastering skills.

‘LEARNING THROUGH PLAY’

This is projected very well because each day is structured with time to learn and play. Some of our teachers have acquired extensive training in early education through the Montessori curriculum. A Montessori wing, well equipped has been set up for this purpose to focus and work on a child centered education.

A child learns the art of good behavior in school and early education creates a platform for this through stories, games, pictures and general conversation.

What are little children made of?

Love and Life.
This is identified and nurtured through hands-on activities and group interactions. Rhymes and music, action songs and poems feature in the daily programme of work. One would find happy singers and rhythmic dancers everywhere. Every child feels alive and so experiences a sense of joy.

How is the child trained to be sociable and friendly?

A visit to the Activity Center will help us to know how this is carried on. The center will speak volumes on how each little one enjoys expressing and expressing with joy. Colour splashing, sketching, blocks building, clay modeling, counting on the spectacular frame, listening to stories, narrating, role play etc...

Children enjoy their weekly visits to the Multi-media center and feel enriched with educative information.
Planned filed trips are organized once a term to enable each child to be more sociable.

Able instructors monitor the activities giving ample opportunity to each child to feel the experience of learning through GAMES.
